On Thursday, February 25, internationally recognized photographer Mark Zelinski talks at the Dundas Museum about his upcoming book, Heart of Turtle island: The Great Escarpment as part of the 2015-16 Rotary Club of Dundas Speaker Series.

Trained as an artist and designer at OCAD, Mark Zelinski possesses an uncommon ability to create, compose and communicate through the medium of photography. He has enjoyed a diverse career as a professional photographer since 1977. He is also a publisher, writer, painter, filmmaker and winner of the Canadian Governor General’s Medal.

His assignments have taken him to all seven continents of the earth, and he has published a number of internationally acclaimed photography books, with forewords by HRH Prince Philip, His Majesty King Constantine, and Justin Trudeau amongst others. Located in Burlington, Ontario, Mark has broad experience in photography for advertising, travel, sports, industrial, corporate, event and wedding photography.

The presentation on Mark’s latest book, Heart of Turtle Island: The Great Escarpment takes place on Thursday, February 25th at 7 p.m. at the Dundas Museum and Archives, 139 Park Street West, Dundas. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the talk begs at 7 p.m.

The cost is $10 per person with refreshments, cookies and door prizes included.
